new month....bright days....spring is on it's way....

come soon, i'm wearing thin...this grey and wintery cloud i'm in....

bring me sunshine, make me bright....

help me feel, all is  alright

Rainy, rainy day

                                                          your're making me feel grey

                                                         grey is grey, and not okay
                                                         it's cloudy way overtakes my day
                                                         the wet, the rain, the dark sky above
                                                         makes me want to wrap myself in love

                                                          love reminds me of brighter days
                                                          I feel the warmth and inside it stays
                                                          colors of light mingle in the drops
                                                          brightness dazzling, it never stops
                                                          umbrellas shade us from the rain
                                                          they help to prevent much of our pain
                                              love is an umbrella that protects us from the rains of life

sunday bliss?

round and round and round we go

do we wish to stop?

i hardly know

sometimes the spin is too much to take

i never seem to get a break

but they say that life is what u make

i've grabbed the wheel

i'm learning to heal

to remind myself of what is real

what's real is now

this moment, right here

i need to embrace it 

over come my fear

heal, live, create and feel

that is how i'll steer my wheel

but that's close enough

be everywhere

but keep to yourself

there is no more room on that part of the shelf

make room for me

can't you see

be part of me

we are one

just realize me

Open and let it in

                                                 I wonder how easy it is to open your mind?

                                            at a rate that your hand can keep up with your mind

how frustrating it is 

to work my way 

through a word

the letters slow to form

yet...

the feeling of excitement

the spark of ideas

amaze me continually

tuning out is hard

all i really want is to tune in

Blooms among the gray

flowers fill my senses
the scent of life in full bloom
the sound of the day passing you by
the sound of life buzzing in the air
the feel of a soft tickle on your toes
the taste of freshness
             all around you
like nectar slipping
